该填料筛选了聚稀烃类和聚酰胺中的几种耐腐、耐温、耐老化的优质品种，混合以亲水、吸附、抗热氧等助剂，采用特殊的拉丝，丝条制毛工艺，将丝条穿插固着在耐腐、高强度的中心绳上，由于选材和工艺配方精良，刚柔适度，使丝条呈立体均匀排列辐射状态，制成了悬挂式立体弹性填料的单体，填料在有效区域内能立体全方位均匀舒展满布，使气、水、生物膜得到充分混渗透接触交换，生物膜不仅能够均匀地床在每一根丝条上，保持良好的活性和可变性，而且能在运行过程中愈来愈大的表面积，又能进行良好的新陈代谢，这一特征与现象是国内目前其他填料不可比拟的。

该填料与硬性类蜂窝填料相比，孔隙可变性大，不堵塞；与软性类填料相比，材质寿命长，不粘连接团；与半软性填料相比，表面积大、挂膜迅速、造价低廉。因此，改填料可确认是继各种硬软类填料、半软性填料后的第四代高效节能新颖填料。
